ABOUT THE OWNER

The Flower Bar is owned and managed by Jo Mullen. Jo has over 20 years experience in retail floristry and has worked in Germany and the City and West End of London, where regular clients included the Mansion House and Guildhall. She is a Masterclass winner judged by Dutch designers and six years ago was shortlisted for the post of personal florist to HM The Queen.

In addition to her floristry qualifications, Jo has a teaching qualification and tutored in floristry at Hertford Regional Colleges in Ware and Turnford. Not surprisingly, her staff receive regular structured training and retraining.

We take pride in providing a high quality service that is personal, caring and fast. With our experience and knowledge we can create traditional designs, or maybe recommend something unusual and different that you may not have seen elsewhere.

Named by The Independent newspaper as one of the 50 “Best Florists in the U.K.” and rated in the “Top 50 Florists in the Country” by Wedding Flowers magazine, The Flower Bar has also achieved the “Flower Shop of the Year – Silver Award for Excellence” in 2006 and 2007.

All bouquets and arrangements are prepared by our own staff and delivered by us in the Hertford area or by courier across the rest of the country.
